RENÉ SALVADOR RENAUD MORENO
René Renaud. Prior to funding Renaud Monroy in April, 2017, with his partner Eloy Monroy, Mr. Renaud was junior partner of one of the leading litigation firms in Mexico, Guerra González y Asociados, S.C., and worked on some of the most complex high-stake disputes since 2003. He possess more than 17 years in first-chair trial experience in commercial, civil, and constitutional litigation. His clients have prevailed in hundreds of cases before all the judicial hierarchy in Mexico.
Mr. Renaud works closely with each client to identify potential areas of legal exposure, design strategies to manage risk, and, where appropriate, resolve disputes short of trial. If disputes should come to trial, Mr. Renaud has an impeccable winning track record.
Mr. Renaud is among the noteworthy upcoming trial and appellate lawyers in Mexico, he is an outstanding practitioner in cross border and domestic insolvencies and bankruptcy matters, principally representing banks, hedge funds, private equity firms and other creditors and acquirors in national and multinational bankruptcy cases and out-of-court restructurings.
Regarding civil and commercial litigation, he has represented leading companies in diverse industries, including finance, insurance, media, high-tech, energy, industrial, consumer, retail and real estate. He has a rich experience in state and federal courts throughout the country at both trial and appellate levels, constitutional procedures -including specific actions and resources against Mexican authorities known as amparos-. When legislative and regulatory bodies overstep their authority, Mr. Renaud has substantial experience in litigating challenges to those actions.
René provides pro bono legal services on a regular basis to individuals in matters that include custody, adoption, domestic violence, guardianship, and public benefits.
